This is really a book you can sit down and read and enjoy and also find some great recipes for your family!

This is a great book to help make family dinners important again! If you like to read cookbooks this is a book that goes way beyond and is hard to put down!

Here’s a recipe I tried for dessert last night, it was super quick and easy and better than my regular chocolate pudding!

Chocolate Pudding Fast

1/2 cup sugar

2 tablespoons cocoa

3 tablespoons cornstarch

3 cups milk

4 oz good quality chocolate finely chopped

1 teaspoon vanilla

1/4 teaspoon salt

In a pan whisk the sugar, cocoa and cornstarch. Whisk in the cold milk. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly, about 10 minutes. Remove from the heat and add the chocolate, vanilla and salt. Stir well.

Poor into small dishes. I like to press plastic wrap on the tops of each dish so a skin doesn’t form. Serve warm or cold. We like lots of whipped cream on top! This pudding thickens as it cools.
