Mary Did You Know~A Song For Sunday

I love this song because it really makes me think about what Mary saw as she watched her son grow up. Do you think she knew in her heart what was in store for her son?

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Would one day walk on water?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Would save our sons and daughters?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Has come to make you new;
This Child that you delivered
Will soon deliver you.

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will give sight to a blind man?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will calm the storm with His hand?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Has walked where Angels trod?
When you kiss your Little Baby,
You kiss the Face of God!

Oh, Mary, did you know?
Oh, Mary, did you know?
The blind will see, the deaf will hear,
The dead will live again.
The lame will leap, the dumb will speak
The praises of the lamb!

Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Is Lord of all creation?
Mary, did you know that your Baby Boy
Will one day rule the nations?
Did you know that your Baby Boy
Is Heaven's Perfect Lamb?
This sleeping Child you're holding
Is the Great I Am!

I love that song. The first time I ever heard it was when Clay Aiken sang it. That's my favorite version.

I love this song too! My daughter and I listened to it the other day. It is one of my favorites, that is for sure. I thought the same way you did about her thoughts and what she was going through.
God Bless,
Shelley
