Fast & Easy Sub Sandwich

PA161042

This is my family’s new favorite sandwich. I like it because it’s fast and easy and also because it doesn’t get soggy. My sweet hubby said that this is the sandwich he wants to pack for hunting trips! The last time we made this we used Pastrami instead of the Roast Beef, yum! I think the green onions just make this sandwich.

Fast & Easy Sub Sandwich

1 loaf of French Bread

3-4 green onions, chopped

1 8oz package cream cheese, room temperature

1/2 cup mayonnaise

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1 cup grated cheddar cheese

1 pound ham, deli sliced

1 pound roast beef, deli sliced

Cut the loaf of bread in half length ways then use your fingers to pull out some of the middle of the bread on both sides.

In a bowl mix the cream cheese, mayonnaise and seasonings. and cheese. Spread this mixture on both sides of the bread. Sprinkle the green onions evenly over each half and then I like to kind of mash them into the cream cheese with a spatula. Layer on the ham and roast beef. Stack the other side of the bread on top and wrap in plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 1~2 hours before serving.
