Time to use up some peaches with Peach Buttermilk Jello and a Contest

I was looking through one of my cookbooks when I came across a recipe that sounded good. I love the flavor of buttermilk with jello. I adapted this recipe to use up some of the big juicy peaches my mother gave me fresh from their peach tree. I love peach season! I used sugar free jello and light cool whip to make this a light salad that I could eat!

Peach Buttermilk Jello

1 4 oz package Peach Jello
4-5 peaches, cubed
2 cups buttermilk
8 oz tub Cool Whip

In a sauce pan heat the peaches, I added about 1/4 cup water. Heat to a boil, then remove from the heat and stir in the jello. Set aside to cool.

In a large bowl whisk the buttermilk and the Cool Whip. Stir in the peaches, they should be warm but not hot. Stir well. Cover and refrigerate until set.

Hi, Carol! I saw your comment about the dropcloths. It isn't that one type of dropcloth is the "best", it all depends on what you like best. One drop cloth looked more like a pale yellow and like cheap material. But the one I liked was much more "earthy". It had more texture to it and a lot more brown flakes throughout it. I don't really know how else to describe it. Even if the package is the same on the outside, the drop cloth material may still be different on the inside. I probably spent 20 minutes comparing the packages, holding them up to the light and even opening them. The home depot guy must have thought I was a nut case! When I found 6 that matched (for 3 windows) I got them.
You'll just have to go check them out and see which one you like best. I even scrounged (is that a word?) my way through an unopened box of them on another shelf! Maybe I AM a nut case!
Goodluck,
