Absolutely Sinful Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies

I'm headed off to girls camp today! It's my daughters first time to go, so she is super excited! We're going up to Idaho to the Cub River. We have a 5 room cabin to use and the girls will all be sleeping in tents. We will have no power, but we do have flush toilets and a phone. I get to sleep on a bunk bed and I'm bringing a mattress. I'm hoping it's going to be fun. We have 14 girls, 5 leaders and 2 men and I don't have to cook!

So, I will be taking a few days off from blogging since we have to cell phone service at camp! Enjoy this plate of cookies while I'm gone!

These are a nice soft, moist cookie full of chocolate flavor!

Absolutely Sinful Chocolate, Chocolate Chip Cookies

3 tablespoons cocoa powder
1/2 cup butter, melted
2/3 cup sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla
2 eggs
2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon soda
2 cups semi sweet chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Whisk all the dry ingredients except cocoa powder in a bow.

In a mixer beat the butter, sour cream, cocoa powder, eggs and vanilla for 2 minutes. Mix in the dry ingredients until well mixed, then add the chocolate chips. Scoop out onto cookie sheets and bake for 10-12 minutes.
