Chocolate Chip Cookies II

This morning after my muscle class at the gym we got to talking about cookies. Isn't that a great topic after working out? But I don't think we're the only ones who like cookies! Anyway, one of the girls was saying that she likes cookies that don't spread out that are kind of thick. So she got me thinking about chocolate chip cookies, which if you haven't noticed, my have to be my families favorite cookies! So, anyway, I found this cookie recipe in a cookbook and thought I'd try it because it said they were softer and chewier than most cookies. It's a little different because it has a teaspoon of water in them. They are really yummy, soft, chewy and loaded with chocolate chips.

Chocolate Chip Cookies II

1 cup butter, room temperature
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 teaspoon water
2 eggs
3 cups flour
1 teaspoon soda
1 teaspoon salt
2 cups chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees.

In a bowl whisk the flour, soda and salt.

In a mixer beat the sugars and butter for 3 minutes on high. Beat in the vanilla, water and egg and mix well. Add the flour mixture and mix, then add the chocolate chips. Drop onto cookie sheets with a cookie scoop. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove to cookie coolers to cool.

This is almost the same recipe that I just shared on my blog! The reason I love them is because they are so much rounder and softer than others - Love your blog!
