My hubby's neat free sign and Beef and Ricotta Cheese Burrito, also a contest!

A few years ago my sweet hubby built a 40x60 garage out back. It's a quonset style building with a false front on it. He's used a lot of reporposed materials in it. The false front is made with the old siding from our old garage, then we white washed it. He has used lighting, used doors, even the garage doors on either end. He picked up this neat old Coca Cola sign the other day and hung it off the loft near his old display cabinet.

This is the display cabinet.

This is the side of an old fire truck.

I found this clever idea for an easy dinner the other day while I was looking at blogs. I don't remember where I saw it though. It was super fast to cook up and my family loved it!

Beef and Ricotta Cheese Burrito

1 pound ground beef
1/2 cup onion
1 stalk celery
1 cup Ricotta cheese
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon smoky paprika, or regular works too
salt and pepper
Slices of cheese, I used American
flour tortillas

Brown hamburger and drain fat. Add the onion and celery and cook until soft. Add the seasonings and the Ricotta cheese and mix well. Lay out the tortillas and put a slice of cheese in the middle. Put 1/3 cup or so of the meat mix on the cheese. Fold in both sides, then one end, then the other. Put in a George Forman grill for 10 minutes at 425. You could probably fry it in a Teflon pan with a lid too.

Here's another contest to enter! Go to Our Suburban Cottage and you could win a print from an artist living in Spain!

That is really neat that your husband built that! I LOVE the old coca-cola sign.

My husband would die for a garage like that to go out and tinker around in. :)

Carol - Thanks for recommending frying your burrito in a Teflon pan. As a representative of DuPont we love to see people talking our products in their everyday lives.

If you are interested in any recipes/cookbooks for your blog, or some more info on Teflon, drop me an email and I would be glad to help you out. Thanks, Ross
