These are pretty simple to make and very decadent. They only take 8 minutes or so in the oven, and you’ll want to eat them hot!
Molten Chocolate Cakes
4 tablespoons butter, and a little extra to butter ramekins
1 tablespoon flour
1/3 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1 egg + 1 egg white
2 tablespoons sugar
Heat oven to 450 degrees. Butter 2 6oz ramekins.
In a small bowl melt the butter and chips for 30 second intervals stirring after each to melt, I did this twice.
In a bowl beat the eggs and sugar for 2 minutes. Add the chocolate mixture and beat. Beat in the flour. Divide into ramekins and bake for 8~10 minutes, until the top puffs up. Let cool for 15 seconds. Loosen with a knife and flip onto a plate. Dust with powdered sugar.
