I went to Chauncey’s swim meet the other night and I slipped on some ice and fell. I hit the little finger on my left hand on the cement strip at the end of a parking stall. I went to the meet, but my hand started really throbbing part way through so I drove home (30 min away) in so much pain I thought I was going to puke. I had my neighbor come over and wrap it in an ace bandage. I had a very sleepless night. I went to the doctor and had some xrays and found out I broke the bone right under my little finger. He put a splint on it and told me to come back in a week. If it hasn’t moved he’ll put a cast on, if it’s moved at all he’ll have to do surgery. So, I have to be really careful this week. I’ll try to keep posting, but it’s kind of hard because I can only use 2 fingers and my thumb on my left hand.

Oh no!! That is terrible. :( Please be careful, and let us hope you don't have to have surgery!

Oh goodness!! Broken bones always suck!! Feel better soon :)
Oh no! I hope all you need is a cast!
Oh my goodness! I hope it heals up quickly! :(
Oooooh, ouch! I'm currently recovering from wisdom teeth surgery but this sounds even worse. I hope you'll take it easy and will be feeling better really soon. In the meantime, there's a fun surprise waiting for you on my blog today :)
Oh no! Get some rest!
oh dear--I hope you won't need surgery. Good Luck!!
So sorry to hear your news. Take care of the hand, you don't want surgery. I once broke my wrist in the winter time, but I was inside away from the ice. Silly me, fell down some steps. Please be careful not to hurt it more.
I am so sorry to hear about that! I hope your not in too much pain! Be extra careful, and if you can't type then just don't over do it. Hopefully things will go well, and you won't need surgery.
It's times like this that I am happy I live in Florida, and don't have to worry about the ice.
Be Careful!
