Rich Brownies

 

These are a super moist fudgy brownie. I made these to take to a movie night with the young women and they loved them!

Rich Brownies

3/4 cup shortening

1 1/2 cup sugar

3 eggs

7 tablespoons cocoa

1 cup flour

1/2 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon vanilla

Heat oven to 375. Spray an 8x8 pan with Pam. In a bowl whisk the dry ingredients.

In a mixer beat the sugar and shortening for 3 minutes. Add the vanilla and eggs and beat well. mix in the dry ingredients. Pour into pan and bake for 25-30 minutes.

Icing

6 tablespoons cocoa

3 tablespoons butter, melted

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 1/4 cups powdered sugar

3 tablespoons cream

Mix all the ingredients in a mixer and spread on cooled brownies.
