My Love For Running Trails Gives Me and My Washer A Workout!

I’m excited about an article I recently wrote, it was posted on the Sears Blog! you can find the link here on the Sears Blog or read it below.

If you have read my blog for a while then you probably know that I love to run trails in the mountains and I love doing it so much that I run them year round. Why they can’t make running socks in black and brown I’ll never know! I also don’t know why I don’t like my white socks tinged with dirt!

I will run on trails and dirt roads, pick my way over and through creeks and streams sometimes getting my feet completely wet, then running on dirt that just creates mud on my socks! In the summer I come home with dust and mud splattered on my legs and in the winter I come home with it splattered on my running tights!

A lot of times when I’m out running I take a tumble and that can just leave dirt and mud all over! Trail running is super fun and I adore it, but getting the sweat, dirt and mud out of my workout clothes can be a challenge!

When I was visiting my grandkids I noticed I left more of a mud ring around the tub after my shower than the little ones did after playing outside! Score some points for grandma!

My name is Carol Harlow (@songberries) I live in the Utah desert at the base of the mountains. I have 5 children and a hubby, with 2 children still at home. My kids are on swim teams and we all like to hike and run trails and be outdoors!
