Cold Turkey Race

I thought I would share a few pictures from the Cold Turkey Race we did in Salt Lake City on Thanksgiving morning. It was 13 degrees out when we started the 4 mile course. We’re wearing our hoodies from our Halloween Race we ran!

We had to hop around a little to try to stay warm. Chauncey entertained us with some of his talents~

Ok, so that’s not so hard, but how about this~

I didn’t know he could even do that!

Sloan is a good runner when she’s cold!

It was so nice to have the sun shinning! I was able to take off

my gloves and head covering.

So, one of my good friends there in the back is a bit of a ham! This was her first time doing this race and she loved it! So, it is possible to have fun in 13 degree weather with snow and did I mention ICE! I was just happy I didn’t slip and fall!

This race is a family tradition for us now for 5 years!

We have something like that around here and they call it the Gobble Wobble.

Looks like you had a great time.
