Stephen’s Hot Chocolate~Chocolate Chip Cookies

                    PA101029

I know you probably think I make a lot of chocolate chip cookies, but that’s what the family likes! This is a fun recipe because it uses hot chocolate mix! You can either use the packets or the big container that you scoop from, just use enough for 4 servings. I can’t wait to make these cookies with raspberry flavored hot chocolate, yum!

Stephen’s Hot Chocolate~Chocolate Chip Cookies

1 cup butter, room temperature

1 2/3 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla

2 eggs

4 scoops Stephen’s Hot Chocolate Mix, I used mint, but you could use any flavor or a individual packets

2 1/2 cups flour

1/2 cup whole wheat flour

1 teaspoon salt

1 1/2 teaspoons soda

2 cups chocolate chips

Heat oven to 350 degrees. In a bowl whisk all the dry ingredients including the hot chocolate mix.

In a mixer beat the sugar and butter for 2 minutes. Add the vanilla and the eggs and beat well. Add the dry ingredients and mix well again. Mix in the chocolate chips. Drop onto cookie sheets with a cookie scoop. Bake for 12-13 minutes. Remove to cookie racks to cool.
