Little boys are so into pirates right now I thought How I Became A Pirate was a fun book to review! This book has great artwork and a good story with some lessons in it, like saying please and thank you and brushing your teeth so they don’t turn green and fall out! Beware though, this book can make your little boy run around the house saying, matey, chanteys, landlubber and scurvy dog! Boys can also learn that being tucked in is good along with having someone read you a story!

Here’s a little about the book~

Jeremy Jacob was playing at the beach when he saw a pirate ship! The pirates rowed ashore and told him they were Braid Beard and his crew and they needed a digger!

Jeremy Jacob told them he could go as long as he got home for soccer practice the next day! That’s how Jeremy Jacob became a pirate!

Jeremy Jacob learned all the things he needed to know to be a pirate, but then a storm hit!

You’ll have to read the book to find out if Jeremy Jacob gets home ok!
