I was going to call these fudge topped brownies, but I decided that these were just bad! So Double Sin Brownies is it! If you love chocolate you will love these. They make a big pan, so you might want to give some to a friend, she may or may not thank you!
My sweet hubby said these were really rich, but he keeps eating them! The kids love them too!
Fudge Topped Brownies
1 cup butter, melted
12 tablespoons cocoa
2 cups sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
Topping
4 1/2 cups sugar
1 can (12 oz)canned milk
1/2 cup butter
1 jar (7 oz) marshmallow cream
24 oz chocolate chips
Heat oven to 350 degrees. Spray a 9x13 pan with Pam.
In a large bowl whisk the flour, cocoa, baking powder and salt.
In a mixer beat the butter and sugar. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well. Mix in the dry ingredients. Pour into prepared pan and smooth out. Bake for 30 minutes. Let cool until warm.
In a large pot cook the butter, sugar and evaporated milk until it boils, reduce heat to low and boil and stir for 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add marshmallow cream and chocolate chips and vanilla. Beat until smooth with a wooden spoon. Pour onto brownies and set to cool in the refrigerator. Cut into squares.
