Vitalicious Review and Sock Monkey Adventures

Vitalicious Review~

No time for your vitamin-fortified cereal this morning? Tired of chewing yet another granola bar, but still want your vitamins, minerals and 5-6g fiber with very little fat? Well, let me tell you about Vitalicious! They are the makers of VitaTops, a fantastic muffin top that is vitamin fortified and full of fiber and the best part, they are all 100 calories! I know! You can get a nice little chocolate fix that makes you do a double take at the calorie count because they taste so good! And if you feel guilty for eating one, just take a 15 minute walk and you'll burn it right off! Vitalicious sent me a nice variety pack of muffin tops and their brownies and I was hooked with the first bite! Here's the chocolate muffin tops they have~

This is the Triple Chocolate Muffin Top.

This is the Fudgy Peanut Butter Cup Muffin Top.

Deep Chocolate Muffin Top.

My favorite is the chocolate mint muffin top.

Vitatops are great for breakfast. I had one with a cup of herb tea and a yogurt with fruit and I was ready to start the day. They are also good with a scoop of frozen yogurt for dessert, it felt like cheating! I was happy to find out that you can now get Vitatops at Costco in some states, or you can order them online at Vitalicious.

Here are some tips for watching your weight I found at the Vitalicious website~
  1. Take a real break for lunch – Eating your lunch quickly in front of your computer or in your car on the way to a meeting may lead to you eat more than you would if you took your time. Make sure you make time for yourself; you'll be more productive and healthier.
  2. Stash safe snacks – When cravings hit mid-afternoon, make sure you have healthy snacks handy so you aren't tempted by whatever you can find. Have many filling, high-fiber, low-calorie snacks available .
  3. BYOB – Bring Your Own Breakfast - Skipping breakfast can make you overdo it at lunch. Starting the day off with a healthy breakfast keeps you energized. If mornings are too hectic, keep your breakfast at work so you never forget it.
When I was in Maine Jennie took me to Fort Knox. Sock Monkey had a little adventure too, can you find him?

Yup, we saved him before he could get hurt!
