The Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies
I found this recipe over on Cooking on Clover Lane, and you know me, it's a cookie, so I had to try it! It makes a big batch, and the kids are gobbling them up! It's kind of different with the cornstarch in them.
The Best Ever Chocolate Chip Cookies
2 1/2 sticks butter
1 cup sugar
1 1/4 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 teaspoons vanilla
2 2/3 cup flour
1 cup whole wheat flour
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 1/4 teaspoons soda
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 package chocolate chips
Cream the butter and the sugars for 3-4 minutes. Beat in the eggs and vanilla. Whisk all the dry ingredients in a bowl then add to the creamed mixture. Add the chocolate chips and mix well.
Freeze for 1 hour. Heat oven to 350 and scoop cookies onto cookie sheets. Bake for 10-12 minutes. Remove to cookie coolers.
