I'm out for a long run and I'm leaving my Cookies and Cream Pie recipe for you!

Today is a training day! I thought I'd share this wonderful pie recipe that Sloan helped me make the other day. I'm heading out the door real soon for a 20 mile run with one of my running buddies. I have a gorgeous run planned for us, some nice downhill, around a lake and out past some pastures with some gravel roads and some paved roads. It should be a good run! I even asked my mom to come bring us some nice cold water bottles before we do our last 5 miles. So while your checking out this great recipe you can think of us out running and be sure and send some good energy wishes our way!

This is so easy!

Here's all the ingredients!

Cookies and Cream Pie

1 15 oz Package Chips Ahoy Cookies (any kind)
1 tub Cool Whip
2 cups milk
Chocolate syrup

Put the milk in a bowl and dip the cookies in the milk. Line the bottom and sides of a 9 inch pie pan with the cookies. Break them in half to fit.

Top with a thin layer of Cool Whip.

Do another layer of milk dunked cookies. Add another layer of Cool Whip, a little thicker than the last layer. Drizzle chocolate syrup in a spiral over the top. Drag a knife through it to make a pattern.

Freeze for 2-3 hours before serving.

The kids just loved this pie! We want to make it again with a Chocolate Mint Oreos, yum!
