Tuna Patties
1 package Stove Top Dressing, any flavor
3/4 cup water
2 cans of tuna, drained
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup chopped onion
In a large mixing bowl mix the dressing mix and the water. I drained my tuna in a colander and then using a fork broke it up. Add the rest of the ingredients to the dressing mix and stir well. Cover and refrigerate for 10 minutes. Form into patties and fry in a frying pan sprayed with Pam. Cook for 3 minutes on each side. Makes 10 - 12 patties.
Sauce For Patties
1/3 cup sour cream
2 tablespoons roasted red pepper, chopped
1 tablespoon Parmesan cheese, grated
1/8 teaspoon garlic powder
1/8 teaspoon onion powder
salt and pepper to taste
1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
Mix all the ingredients in a small bowl.

looks like a tasty, easy, and affordable dish. Never thought of tuna, always think of crab cakes. Nice substitution.
I wonder if you could use salmon for this? Any ideas?
Mmmm I love tuna patties! Thanks for reminding me, I should make them soon. It has been ages!
