The Corioliss Classic Pro has a easy on and off switch along with a heat temperature that you can control. People with thin hair don't have to use a super hot setting and people with thick hair can turn it up and get the extra heat that they need to get their hair to straighten.

The control is out of the way so you don't have to worry about hitting the off button or changing the heat setting while our using it. With my old flat iron I was always bumping the heat setting.
