Cake Mix Coffee Cake
Yesterday I did a guest post over at Stretching The One Income Dollar. Monique has a great blog with all kinds of money saving tips and where to find great deals. Be sure and check out her blog.
Don't forget to stop by this post for my giveaway, it ends Thursday.
I don't buy cake mixes very often, but I found I had some that needed to be used up. This is a really easy coffee cake to mix up.
Cake Mix Coffee Cake
1 yellow cake mix
3/4 cup applesauce
1/2 cup oil
3 eggs
Streusel
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup flour
2 teaspoons cinnamon
5 tablespoons cold butter
Glaze
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 tablespoons melted butter
3 or so tablespoons milk
Spray a 9x13 inch pan with Pam. Heat oven to 350 degrees.
In a mixer beat the cake ingredients until well blended. Pour into prepared pan. Sprinkle with streusel. Bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
For Streusel
Mix the dry ingredients in a small bowl. Cut in the butter. Sprinkle over the cake.
Glaze
Mix until smooth. Drizzle over cake.
