Baked Oatmeal, cake for breakfast!

This is one of my favorite things to have for breakfast. It tastes just like cake. It's super easy to make too! Just mix everything up and bake. You can change it up a bit by adding dried cranberry's, nuts or you can even add chocolate chips! I think it would be yummy with brown sugar too!

Baked Oatmeal

1 egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
1/2 cup sugar, I used spenda
1/2 cup milk
1/4 cup chopped nuts, I left the nuts out
1/4 cup raisins
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon

Combine all ingredients in a bowl. Pour into a greased 8-in. square baking dish. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Cut into squares.

ooh this sounds yummy! I think that I am going to try it. Could I used truvia instead of splenda? Thanks for visiting. So glad that you stopped by! I will be back to see what other kinds of yumminess you come up with.
